CIU Architecture Renews MiAK Accreditation
The Architecture Undergraduate Program of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at Cyprus International University (CIU) has successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the Association for Accreditation of Architectural Education (MiAK) and has been granted the right to maintain its accreditation for the new term. Confirmed by an official notification dated March 30, 2026, this development once again demonstrates the program’s strong performance in educational quality, continuous improvement approach, academic infrastructure, and compliance with international standards. This achievement reaffirms the faculty’s quality-oriented educational vision, its position in contemporary architectural education, and its student-centered approach.
Commenting on the achievement, Prof. Dr. Cemil Atakara, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at CIU, stated that the result is the product of disciplined and collective effort. Atakara said: “This decision by MiAK is a significant indicator of our faculty’s commitment to educational quality, a culture of continuous improvement, and alignment with international standards. We take great pride in seeing our efforts carried out together with our academic staff, students, graduates, and all stakeholders result in such success.
